The NIST National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) program is seeking applications from eligible applicants for activities to establish community-based partnerships to develop cybersecurity career pathways that address local workforce needs. Effective multistakeholder workforce partnerships will organize multiple employers with skill shortages in specific occupations to focus on developing the skilled workforce to meet industry needs within the local or regional economy.
Despite recent funding cuts, the NEH has recently announced an RFP for its PAET program. This program supports projects that develop and implement educational programs for professionals who preserve and provide access to humanities collections. Such materials include but are not limited to moving image and sound recordings, archaeological artifacts, born-digital and digitized collections, rare books and manuscripts, archival records, material culture, and art.
The philanthropic wing of Centene Corporation, the Centene Foundation aims to transform the health of communities through three distinct drivers of health: health care, social services, and education. Because the foundation recognizes that transforming the health of our communities requires more than one-time contributions, it seeks partnerships that can grow over time and position communities to thrive. Centene gives nationally to IHEs and health organizations for programmatic support.
ADI invites applications for its Get Out and Get Active Grant program, which aims to support innovative projects that explore or promote the mental health benefits of physical activity, including community programs, educational initiatives, and research projects that improve mental health outcomes through movement-based interventions. Grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded for education, direct service, and research projects.
